📌 What is Glassdoor Job Scraper?

Glassdoor helps job seekers explore vacancies, employers, and compensation. Glassdoor Job Scraper turns job searches into a reusable dataset of job titles, descriptions, employer information, locations, ratings, and salary ranges. Use it to compare hiring demand, research advertised pay, and organize opportunities by role and location without copying each posting manually.

Enter job-title keywords, choose your search filters, and run the task in the cloud. Each output line represents a job posting, with its Glassdoor link for follow-up.

💰 Pricing

Standard: $0.30 per 1,000 output lines. Professional: $0.24 per 1,000 output lines. Enterprise: $0.18 per 1,000 output lines.

Template data charges are separate from your Octoparse subscription. Cloud access and scheduling depend on your plan.

📦 Output

Combine job descriptions with employer and location information. Salary fields distinguish employer-provided pay from estimates and retain the currency and pay period, so hourly and annual amounts can be compared appropriately.

🎯 Use Cases

  • Compare advertised pay: Analyze salary ranges by role and location while separating estimates from employer-provided amounts.
  • Track hiring demand: Compare posting IDs, employers, and titles across scheduled exports to identify new opportunities.
  • Research skill requirements: Use job descriptions to organize frequently requested skills and experience by role.
  • Build a job shortlist: Combine location, posting age, employer rating, and Easy Apply status to prioritize postings for review.

🐙 Why Octoparse

  • Search and descriptions together: Collect job-search results and their descriptions in one task instead of maintaining a separate detail-URL workflow.
  • Multiple roles in one input: Enter job titles on separate lines and apply shared location and filter settings.
  • Pay with context: Retain currency, pay period, and pay source alongside the advertised range.
  • Cloud execution: Run without leaving your computer on; schedule recurring collections with an eligible plan.
  • Reusable job records: Export results to CSV, Excel, or JSON and use posting IDs to reconcile repeated collections.

📝 Input

  • Job title — required: Enter job-title keywords, one per line. The form accepts up to 1,000 lines. Each keyword starts its own search.
  • Job location — optional: Enter a location Glassdoor can recognize, such as a city and state. A precise location helps avoid ambiguous matches; an unresolvable location may prevent the search.
  • Posted days ago — optional: Set a positive whole number to restrict posting age. Leave blank or use 0 for no age filter.
  • Easy Apply — optional: Turn on to keep postings marked Easy Apply. Off by default.
  • Remote only — optional: Turn on to request remote opportunities. Off by default.
  • Minimum rating — optional: Set the minimum employer rating. Leave blank or use 0 for no minimum.
  • Distance — optional: Choose Exact location, 5 miles, 10 miles, 15 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, or 100 miles. If unset, the search uses 100 miles.
  • Company sizes — optional: Choose All company sizes, 1-200 employees, 201-500 employees, 501-1000 employees, 1001-5000 employees, or 5001+ employees. If unset, all company sizes are included.
  • Sort by — optional: Choose Most relevant or Most recent. If unset, results use relevance ordering.
  • Results limit — optional: Set a positive whole number for the maximum output per job-title search. If blank, the limit is 100. The field's placeholder is an example, not the default.

🚀 How to Use

  1. Open Glassdoor Job Scraper and click Try it!.
  2. Enter job titles and a recognizable location.
  3. Set filters and a results limit that fits your research.
  4. Start the task in the cloud, then review the returned jobs and descriptions.
  5. Export your results or schedule another collection with an eligible plan.

⚠️ Limitations

  • This template searches Glassdoor job postings; it does not collect employer reviews, applicant profiles, or application outcomes.
  • A results limit is a maximum, not a guaranteed count. Restrictive filters or the available search results can produce fewer rows.
  • A posting may still be returned when its description cannot be retrieved. Such a row has an empty description.

💡 Tips

  • Start with one role and a precise city/state before expanding your keyword list.
  • Compare salary amounts only after grouping by pay_currency, pay_period, and pay_source.
  • Match repeated exports by id rather than job title: different employers can advertise identical titles.
  • Save each task's search settings alongside its export; the output does not include a separate input-keyword column.

❓ FAQ

Does Glassdoor Job Scraper apply for jobs or reveal recruiter emails?

No. It collects job information for research. Easy Apply is a posting attribute, not an automated application action, and recruiter emails are not an output field.

Can I put Glassdoor search-result URLs into Job title?

No. Enter role keywords, then use Job location and the filters to define the search. This template does not use search-result URLs as inputs.

Does a remote Glassdoor job mean I can work from any country?

No. Remote postings can still have country, state, or residency requirements. Review each job description before treating an opportunity as location-independent.

Will recurring Glassdoor collections contain jobs I have already exported?

Yes. A recurring search can return postings that remain available. Compare posting IDs across exports to identify newly observed jobs.
